Who is Marisha?
Marisha works as a multimedia editor for Agence France Presse in Washington, DC. She is one semester away from earning her MA in communication from John’s Hopkins University. Marisha’s research interests include credibility, women in the media and student press law. Her thesis will examine the framing used to cover Afghan women by US newspapers since 2001.
Marisha holds a BA in print journalism from American University. Her work has previously appeared in The Orange County Register, Teacher Magazine, and Report, the quarterly publication of the Student Press Law Center.
